Progress Through Levels 0 to 4:

Learn to Skate Level - 0:

Introduction to basic skating techniques, including forward and backward skating, transitions, stops, and falls.

Speed & Agility - Level 1:

Focus on enhancing speed and footwork through exercises like shuffling, grapevines, quick starts and stops, lateral movements, jumps, spins, and speed skating.

Roller Derby 101 - Level 2: Power Jams:

Begin light contact drills, pack skating, introductory blocking, scrimmage drills, and power jams.

Roller Derby Scrimmage Ready - Level 3: Full Contact:

Dive into full contact strategies, including offense and defense tactics, communication, penalty management, clean skating, scrimmages, and full-contact home games.

Roller Derby - Level 4: Seasonal Travel Team:

Commit to a demanding schedule of practice five days a week, including indoor and outdoor sessions, and compete in three away games. Tryouts are conducted as needed.
