What is the backstory on your Derby Name?

I've been obsessed with rainbows since birth and I've always been a rebel.

What do you do for a living?

I'm a special education teacher.

When did you start roller derby?

I started derby in 2015 after a rough divorce and a big weight loss.

Why did you start derby?

 I had wanted to do for about 5 years but was too out of shape and had no freedom.

Has your why changed over the years?

Now I just love the sport and the exercise, I've always loved to skate. I wanted it to help me to be more aggressive, because I'm way too passive.

Advice to new skaters!

I just wish I would have started at South Side to begin my derby journey instead of somewhere else.
