All this protective gear can be found at our local Skate shop & Women’s Fashion and Boutique in Friendswood Texas at the Funky Monkey! However if you are not in Friendswood Texas, please look for your local skate shop, and get in and try on this protective gear before you buy, and the video I explained that numerous amounts of people by protective gear online, and when it gets to you, the protective gear is not the right size. Wrist and knee pads must be on until you are consistently landing your tricks. Once you’re consistently landing your trick you can then start learning how to do them without protective gear and add your style and creative flair!  This class is for skaters that are already landing 360s/single jumps and doing 2 foot spins with at least three revolutions.  This knowledge is used for Roller Dance, park skating, Street skating, figure, freedom & fun!!  To be assessed for readiness for this class DM me!!

Backwards Blocking Workshop Part 2 ok assuming you can do Part 1 of this workshop.. Here the next step .. I taught it in 8 counts cause i'm gay like that. :o) and I got all my fancy move form dance class and figuer skating :oD the point of the counting is so your skaters understand all this STUFF has to happen really fast.. so skating forward 1 2 3 4 turn around with your JUMP 5 6 7 8 then all in 1 count...... And 1 ...... you need to put one toe stop down and stick your booty out and brace your self for impact!! Work on not coming to a complete stop while doing it.. BUT KNOW THIS ....You will come to a complete stop at 1st but with more incomprating this drill in to your pratice regiment your skaters will start learning the beatuy of speed contol and using the hit from the other skater to keep you moving so it's ALL LEAGAL!! ;OD Leave a Comment .. This is your 1st set up for your backward block. We are working up to backwards booty block in theis work shop :o) This drill is a Pace Line .. 1st person skates 1 lap forward annnnnnnnd on lap 2 she jump backwards and skates one lap backwards. Then the next girls goes! No Blocking just yet see that in Part 2 This works great because she can set the speed of how fast she wants her pack before turning.. If you R feeling crazy go fast!! if your not so sure yet go slow.. It's just practice! Soooooo To Start your Backwards blocking work shop.. you want your skaters to be able to turn around with out....... I REPEAT WITH OUT!!!!! LOSSSING SPEED! and to turn around WITH OUT LOSSING SPEED you need to be able to do a jump..NOT a turn... A JUMP!! So if you don't have your jumps down.. (Mowhak , Waltz or 180) If you have your jumps down.. Try doing this drill with a fast paces line behind you while you do your jump. Practice Practice Practie ! Your are not going to be awesome at this for a few practices but if you keep working this drill in to your practice you will have some scary bitches popping out with some backwards blocks.. ;o) Enjoy Leave a Comment .. Ok you have 60 seconds to make 20 cone touches on the Turn Around Stop Drill The cones are set 12 feet apart on all our lateral drills.
