Since the  LoneStar RollerGirls revived roller derby in 2001, roller derby leagues like South Side Roller Derby are popping up all over the nation in your local roller rink.

South Side Roller Derby formed with the dream to bring banked track, all-girl roller derby to Houston & Galveston, TX.

South Side Girls are on a mission right now to train 40-60 girls how to skate hard and fast at Pearwood Skate and to raise 30,000 dollars to build the roller derby banked track.
